Spring Term Assessments

In order to support your learning, we have listed the internal assessments that are planned for the spring term. Please revise for these assessments at home, using the revision materials provided on the VLE and from your individual teachers. Information regarding formal mock exams will be provided separately.

Below are the upcoming assessments for the forthcoming two week period for ALL year groups. Individual year groups can be found at the bottom of the page.

27th January English - Characters Reading Fiction Assessment Students are to identify true statements about a 19th Century fiction text and then analyse the language in the text, explaining how a character is presented by the writer.

30th March English - Characters Reading Non-Fiction Assessment Students are to compare the attitudes of the writers of a 19th Century and a 20th Century non-fiction texts and are to analyse how the writers' viewpoints are presented by analysing the methods they use.
