MiSST Together
On Wednesday 1st March, our music department hosted the MiSST Together Play Day. MiSST Together is an event which enables MiSST schools to work with each other to broaden and strengthen their performance opportunities. One or two schools are partnered together and throughout a day of sectional and tutti rehearsals, prepare for a concert. Students from The Radclyffe School and Furness Academy visited Hathershaw for the event. It was an all-day event where students spent the day rehearsing in small workshops, delivered by specialist instructors where they received tips and tricks to help perfect their rhythm. Students had a brilliant time playing alongside talented pupils from the other schools. At the end of the day they performed in front of staff from Hathershaw College, The Radclyffe School and Furness Academy. It was a phenomenal performance which clearly displayed their talent and was enjoyed by all.
