Staff Governor Vacancies at The Hathershaw College

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic colleagues to join our Local Governing Body (LGB). We currently have two vacancies:

Teaching Staff Governor
Support Staff Governor

This is a unique opportunity to bring your frontline experience to the leadership table, represent your colleagues and help shape the strategic direction of The Hathershaw College.

What Does the Role Involve?

Attending four LGB meetings per year (held on Thursdays at 4:30 pm).
Working collaboratively with a diverse board to support and constructively challenge the school’s leadership team.
Serving a four-year term (eligible for as long as you are employed at the College).

Note: No prior governance experience is necessary—full induction, training, and support will be provided.
